Avnet

SGS has played a major role in promoting Avnet events such as the Avnet Science and Technology Fair and the Avnet 16" Softball Desert Classic. Through online advertising, television segments, and TV and radio commercials, as well as calling companies to solicit sponsorships, these events were both huge successes.

The Avnet Science and Technology Fair is a state-wide event was created to give students in grades five through eight a chance to apply basic science skills to invent a new product or process that addresses an unmet need or solves a problem. Student compete for cash prizes.

The Avnet 16" Softball Desert Classic is a tounament in which teams compete for a trophy and the proceeds go to benefit the YMCA and the Phoenix Sports Commission Youth Athletic Programs.
